Fine Food proves the quality again by completing an IFS certification: Another international certificate for Bosnian Herzegovinian company
Fine Food, Sarajevo’s food industry, has crowned the company’s certification process with the IFS standard, which is approved by the GFSI – Global Food Safety Initiative.
The certification process took place through 2020., as the companies – applicants, are exposed to the strictest criteria in terms of food safety and consumer quality levels. “All current production processes are in line with ISO, HACCP and HALAL standards and principles, and now officially with IFS standards, in order to establish traceability of the production process as an important prerequisite for eliminating the risks to consumer health,” states the Fine Food’s quality control and assurance team.
For companies that are ready to meet the high demands of this standard, the introduction of IFS standards, provides an opportunity to gain consumer trust and to protect them by producing safe and quality products. It also allows companies to improve cost efficiency in the food production and sales chain.
The path to a leading position in the Bosnian market, Fine Food builds by continuous monitoring and meeting the requirements, needs and expectations of customers, and by placing special emphasis on the health of all products in its range. Fine Food currently employs more than 200 workers and markets its products through its own retail in Sarajevo and wholesale channels, franchise outlets throughout the Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also through exports to European markets.
